Are you still confused in buying best data plan for your smartphone?

First time in India, mobile phone revolution is centred around data, this is kicked off after the launch of Reliance Jio in September 2016. Jio has triggered the price war and forced everyone to reduce their prices. Plummeting of tariff plans is not that easy for telecom player, which could be one of the reason for the largest merger of two biggest telecom operators in Indian telecom industry Vodafone and Idea Cellular. Both the companies came together when the sector is witnessing the stiff competition as far as tariffs are concerned. In this tariff war exits of small telecom players in inevitable.

Another challenge for telecom players is to upgrade better quality of their network simultaneously. Plunge of tariff  prices is expected to have more subscribers for streaming services like Netflix and amazon prime. This also means there will be more manufacturing opportunity for handset manufacturers which dovetails neatly with the Make in India initiative.

Reliance Jio is offering 4G services at a cost of INR 10 per day (approx.).  Seeking the fact and understanding the need of an hour other telecom players such as Airtel, Vodafone, Idea and BSNL has also launched bundled data plans to retain their customeINR.
