Reliance Retail’s Lyf F1 Plus smartphone is now available on Snapdeal at Rs. 13,099. Separately, a report claims that Lyf Water 9 has been launched in India priced at Rs. 8,499. Unfortunately, the company is yet to officially announce either smartphone.
Lyf F1 Plus supports 4G LTE bands in India and the handset also supports VoLTE (voice over LTE) with HD voice call compatibility. The dual-SIM (Micro-SIM + Nano-SIM) Lyf F1 Plus sports a 5.5-inch full-HD (1080×1920 pixels) Amoled display with Corning Gorilla Glass 4. It runs Android 6.0 Marshmallow out-of-the-box and supports 4G connectivity only on a single SIM card slot at a time.
The Lyf F1 Plus smartphone is powered by 1.6GHz octa-core processor coupled with 3GB of RAM. The smartphone packs 32GB of inbuilt storage and supports expandable storage via microSD card (up to 128GB). It sports a 16-megapixel autofocus rear camera with LED flash and an 8-megapixel fixed-focus front camera.
Connectivity options include GPRS/ EDGE, 3G, GPS, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, and Micro-USB, apart from 4G (LTE Cat. 4 support). The handset weighs 152 grams and it is backed by a 3200mAh battery.
The alleged Lyf Water 9, on the other hand, features a 5.5-inch full-HD display and also comes with 2.5D DragonTrail glass on top. It is said to be powered by octa-core MediaTek MT6753 processor clocked at 1.3GHz coupled with 2GB of RAM and 16GB of storage. The handset will come with expandable storage via microSD card. It sports a 13-megapixel rear camera with dual-LED flash and a 5-megapixel front camera. It is said to run Android 5.1 Lollipop out-of-the-box. The launch was first reported by PhoneRadar.
